Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH), a member of the conservative House Freedom Caucus, met with President Donald Trump on Thursday, but the congressman said that he is still not happy with the bill introduced by House leadership to repeal and replace the Affordable Care Act.

“Right now, there’s big concerns, and I don’t think there’s the votes for this legislation,” Jordan told CNN.

Jordan said he had a “good meeting” with Trump, but indicated that the discussion was not enough to convince him to back the current bill. Jordan said that members are hopeful they will be able to improve the bill pushed by Republican leadership, lamenting that the legislation keeps some aspects of Obamacare.

“We want to help the President do what we told the voters we were going to do, what we all told the voters we were going to do. And we told them we were going to repeal Obamacare,” he said.

“Let’s do the right thing. Let’s put together the right kind of legislation that accomplishes what we all told the voters we were going to do,” Jordan later added.
