Following an announcement that he would be stepping down from the Senate in January in order to lead the Heritage Foundation, a conservative think tank, Sen. Jim DeMint (R-SC) addressed his future staff in Washington on Thursday.
“I feel like this is a homecoming for me and that you’ve all had a part in training and developing me, so if you don’t like what you have here it’s your own fault,” DeMint joked.
