Liberty University President Jerry Falwell Jr. endorsed real estate mogul Donald Trump for President on Tuesday afternoon.

Falwell said in a statement to the Washington Post that Trump is “a successful executive and entrepreneur, a wonderful father and a man who I believe can lead our country to greatness again.”

Trump called the endorsement “an honor” in his own statement.

“It is truly an honor to receive Jerry’s endorsement. Not only is he a high-quality person, with a wonderful family, whom I have great respect for – I also consider him a very good friend and his support means so much to me,” the Republican presidential frontrunner said, as quoted by the Post.

Falwell took over the higher learning institution from its founder and his father, the late televangelist Jerry Falwell.

Numerous presidential candidates have addressed Liberty University’s student body in the past year, including Trump himself, Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) and retired neurosurgeon Ben Carson. Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) announced his presidential campaign there in March.
