While discussing the Supreme Court’s hearing on the Defense of Marriage Act Wednesday, CNN legal analyst Jeffrey Toobin was hit by a wayward umbrella outside the high court. Toobin said he was unharmed after the incident.
CNN anchor Suzanne Malveaux said the umbrella was used for one of the set’s light stands. “That happens from time to time,” she said, adding that she has been hit by one before.
“I find I’m thinking more clearly now,” Toobin added.
