Republican presidential candidate and former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush said Tuesday in an interview with CNN that no, he was not quitting the 2016 GOP race.
GOP rival Donald Trump had said Tuesday that Bush should do what Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker did and quit.
Bush was asked on CNN whether he was quitting the race.
“No. I mean, do we have to talk about Donald Trump? No. I’m not quitting,” Bush replied. “He’s entertaining. He’s fun. He says really funny things in the breaks, in the debate. But I’m running for President of the United States, and it’s a serious endeavor.”
Bush said he was running for President “with joy” and that there were “fun parts” of doing so.
Watch Bush’s comments:
Jeb sure doesn’t look like he’s having fun.
“No. I’m not quitting,” Bush replied, just before announcing he was quitting.
Yeah…its REALLY not good to have to keep answering questions about when you are going to drop out. And he is getting steamed with each and every one. Given that he isn’t really known for keeping a lid on his emotional outbursts, I see “a scene” on the horizon.
Clark: “We’re ten hours from the fcking funpark and you want to bail out??? Well, I’ll tell you something: This is no longer a vacation – it’s a quest! It’s a quest for fun! You’re gonna have fun, and I’m gonna have fun, and we’re all gonna have so much fcking fun we’re gonna need plastic surgery to remove our g*ddamn smiles! You’ll be whistling ‘Zip-A-Dee Doo-Dah’ out your a**holes!”
The question is whether he will pull out before or after Iowa.
