Former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush has tapped a high ranking staffer from his brother’s re-election campaign to be the new chief operating officer on the floundering presidential bid, Politico reported Monday.

Janan Grissom, who served as the director of administration George W. Bush’s reelection campaign, replaced Christine Ciccone, whose departure was first reported Friday. Grissom also served as White House liaison to the Treasury Department.

The high profile lineup change comes shortly after news that Bush’s campaign was downsizing his headquarters and slashing staffers’ pay by 40 percent to cut costs.

After weeks of negative press and a poorly received performance at last week’s presidential debate on CNBC, the Bush camp launched a 2016 reboot on Monday, coinciding with a new e-book and the “Jeb Can Fix It Tour.”
