Federal authorities raided Subway spokesman Jared Fogle’s home early Tuesday morning, reportedly in connection with a child pornography investigation.
Investigators with the FBI and state police were spotted at the Zionsville, Indiana home, where an evidence truck was parked outside, according to local TV station WXIN. Anonymous FBI sources told the news station that authorities were serving warrants at Fogle’s home in connection with a child pornography investigation.
An FBI spokeswoman acknowledged to The Indianapolis Star newspaper that the agency was conducting a criminal investigation in the area of Fogle’s home but would not comment further.
The raid comes a little more than two months after the then-executive director of The Jared Foundation, his childhood obesity charity, was arrested on child pornography charges. Fogle dismissed Russell Taylor in April and told WXIN in a statement at the time that he was “shocked” by the “disturbing” allegations against Taylor.
The investigation that nabbed Taylor turned up more than 400 child pornography videos, according to The Indianapolis Star. Taylor was placed on life support after a May 6 suicide attempt in jail and is now in custody of the U.S. Marshals Service.
And that’s the end of that gig.
Saw this link from back in 2007 posted on several sites. Doesn’t look good for Mr. Jared.

Could cause a depressive spiral:
Exiting Subway!
Entering Grand Buffet down the street.
Although corporations flee at even the hint of this sort of publicity, he’s innocent til’ proven guilty.
On the other hand, wonder if they serve Subway in the gray bar hotel?
Good catch. Something tells me he’s registered Republican too.
For some reason I’m completely unsurprised by this one.
And I’m betting that his favorite show was "19 and Counting." And I’m not going to mention the “foot long vs. the six incher’ ___ and the meme ‘Eat Fresh’ …”…Uh oh!
BTW: If they ever find out anything bad about Mr. Rogers, my cynicism will be wholly complete. I just refuse to believe anything bad about Fred!
Oh…Has Mike Huckabee issued a statement of support for Jared yet? Has FOX opened a GoFundMe page for Jared?
