Donald Trump’s feud with actress and comedian Rosie O’Donnell runs so deep that he felt the need to invoke her name, unprompted, during the first presidential debate last week.
Despite that bad blood, O’Donnell tweeted Wednesday night that she spoke with his daughter, Ivanka Trump, in person and wished her well.
O’Donnell said she saw Trump at Nobu 57, New York City, and an unnamed source told CNN that the two simply “ran into each other,” rather than met up on purpose.

The actress wished Trump well in the tweet and acknowledged the Jewish holiday of Rosh Hashanah, which ended Tuesday. The tweet is currently pinned to the top of her Twitter feed.
The Trump campaign confirmed the meeting to CNN. Neither the campaign nor Ivanka Trump’s company immediately responded Thursday to TPM’s requests for comment.
Donald Trump’s feud with O’Donnell, in which he’s called her a “fat pig,” has provided plenty of fodder for attacks from Hillary Clinton’s campaign.
