Incoming CNN president Jeff Zucker told reporters on Thursday that it would be a “mistake” to say that only MSNBC and Fox News are the cable news network’s competition. That being said, Zucker admitted that he would like to get higher daily ratings than Fox and MSNBC.
Zucker, the former chief executive of NBCUniversal, will take up his new post at CNN in January 2013.
