Hurricane Sandy is expected to make landfall by early evening either along the southern New Jersey coast or just south of it, according to the National Hurricane Center’s latest advisory. The storm has also sped up. It’s currently moving northeast at about 28 mph. Its maximum sustained winds are near 90 mph.
