The Republican-led House will vote on a health care alternative to Obamacare in 2014, Majority Leader Eric Cantor (R-VA) told members privately on Thursday at their annual conference retreat in Cambridge, Maryland.

“House Republicans will rally around and pass an alternative to Obamacare this year,” Cantor said, according to a source in the room.

It’s not clear what bill Republican leaders will bring up, though.
