The city of Hoboken, N.J. has received a subpoena from the New Jersey U.S. Attorney’s Office as part of the investigation into its mayor’s claims against the administration of Gov. Chris Christie (R), The Newark Star-Ledger reported on Friday.

“The City of Hoboken has received a subpoena for documents and is fully cooperating,” Juan Melli, a spokesperson for Hoboken Mayor Dawn Zimmer, told the newspaper.

Zimmer earlier this month went public with an accusation that the Christie administration threatened to withhold Hurricane Sandy aid if she did not approve a local development deal. Zimmer later met with federal prosecutors, and provided them with documents to back up her claims.
