Democratic presidential frontrunner Hillary Clinton recently told a New Hampshire newspaper reporter that she would “get to the bottom” of UFOs and Area 51.

Daymond Steer, of The Conway Daily Sun, had asked Clinton about UFOs in 2007, when he worked for a different local paper in New Hampshire. Clinton remembered the exchange when she interviewed with the editorial board of the Daily Sun in December.

“Yes, I’m going to get to the bottom of it,” Clinton reportedly told Steer.

Clinton had told that reporter in 2007 that her husband, former President Bill Clinton, received the most freedom-of-information requests at his library on the subject of UFOs.

She also told Steer in the December interview that her campaign chairman, John Podesta, was big fan of UFO lore.

“He has made me personally pledge we are going to get the information out. One way or another. Maybe we could have, like, a task force to go to Area 51,” Clinton was quoted as saying, referring to the secretive Nevada military base.
