The former secretary of State on Monday reportedly weighed in on the outcome of the bloody Republican primary for U.S. Senate in Mississippi where incumbent Sen. Thad Cochran (R-MS) defeated state Sen. Chris McDaniel (R) in a runoff election. Cochran, after the primary went to a runoff, sought out the support of Democratic and black voters.

McDaniel has yet to concede the race and has claimed that Cochran won due to "illegal" votes.
