The New York Times reported Thursday, citing unnamed sources, that Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton has been scheduled to make an appearance on NBC’s “Saturday Night Live” on Oct. 3.
Spokespersons for NBC and Clinton’s campaign didn’t return the Times’ requests for comments, according to the publication.
Clinton is expected to perform in a skit opposite SNL’s Kate McKinnon who has played the former secretary of state in previous episodes.
To appear on SNL, the Times reported, Clinton would’ve had to turn down the opportunity to be the keynote speaker for the Human Rights Campaign, a LGBT advocacy group.
