Following attacks on her during the last Republican presidential debate, Hillary Clinton sent a copy of her book, “Hard Choices,” to all of the Republican presidential candidates except former Virginia Gov. Jim Gilmore.
“I’m trying to be a good fellow candidate and give them some help,” Clinton said on Tuesday at a rally in Iowa about her decision to send the book to her rivals, according to Politico.
She mailed each candidate a book along with a note encouraging them to read up on her time as secretary of state.

A few Republican candidates were quick to respond to Clinton, offering reading suggestions for the former secretary of state.
We’ll gladly return the favor and send @HillaryClinton’s campaign #ATimeForTruth because, well… https://t.co/mAFpyZ2SOK

Kristy Campbell, a spokeswoman for former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush, told the Washington Post that Bush “hopes Secretary Clinton will have an opportunity to read his e-book, ‘Reply All,’ when it comes out in a few weeks. The book, based on Governor Bush’s emails while in office, is a good lesson on the importance of transparency in government.”
Jindal is such a petulant child/man.
It seems that even Clinton forgets about Jim Gilmore. If everyone forgets you’re running for President, do you really count?
Ooooooh, challenging them to read something outside the crazy-wing mediasphere… I see a book burning in their future.
What?!? No response from Carly? Is the infinite well of negativity still breathing?
John Ellis Bush wants to talk emails? OK:
It’s equally baffling that Bush had no idea how vulnerable he was on the issue he’s chosen to complain about.
The Washington Post’s report on the security risks surrounding Jeb Bush conducting official business on his private account coincided with a New York Times article, which noted that it took the former governor more than seven years “to comply fully with a Florida public records statute” on email disclosure.
The report quoted a non-partisan expert with the Florida-based First Amendment Foundation who said Bush’s disclosure policy was “a technical violation of the law.” The governor was required to turn over records pertaining to official business “at the expiration of his or her term of office,” and the Republican waited more than seven years to meet these obligations.
