Herman Cain’s website, CainTV, on Thursday took a jab at former Sen. Rick Santorum (R-PA) for launching another presidential bid.

Herman Cain, who suspended his own 2012 presidential campaign in December 2011, tweeted a link to the article by Cain Media writer Robert Laurie about “a doomed Rick Santorum candidacy.”

“Santorum made his announcement in a televised interview with pretend journalist George Stephanopoulos, and you can watch the clip below,” Laurie wrote. “To quickly sum it up, he’s angling to re-fight the values-and-morality campaign that failed him in 2008, and will have even less traction this time around.”

Santorum launched his 2016 presidential campaign on Wednesday. In the 2012 presidential race, the former senator won 11 states in the Republican primary before Mitt Romney ultimately won the GOP nomination.
