Sen. Kay Hagan (D-NC) has a small lead over her Republican challenger Thom Tillis, according to a new CNN/ORC International poll released on Sunday.

Among likely voters, 46 percent said they would support Hagan and 43 percent said they would vote for Tillis. And 7 percent said they would support Libertarian candidate Sean Haugh.

CNN noted that Hagan’s small lead is “well within the poll’s sampling error of plus or minus four percentage points.”

Most recent polls have shown Hagan with a small lead over her Republican challenger. According to TPM’s Polltracker average, Hagan has a 4.5 point lead over Tillis.

CNN/ORC surveyed 1,010 adults via phone Sept. 22-25 with a margin of error plus or minus 3 percentage points.
