Grimm Dropped As Romney Delegate

Rep. Michael Grimm — under fire for allegations he broke campaign finance laws — has been replaced as a New York GOP delegate by former Borough President Guy Molinari, the Staten Island Advocate reports:

But the Grimm camp said the move is just a bit of convention musical chairs and has nothing to do with the fundraising allegations surrounding Grimm.
 

Molinari in December announced that Grimm (R-Staten Island/Brooklyn), whom he helped guide from obscurity to a seat in the U.S. Congress, would be a delegate for GOP White House hopeful Mitt Romney.
