Fox News host Greta Van Susteren balked at a recent Fox Business panel discussion in which host Lou Dobbs and participants Juan Williams and Erik Erickson of RedState expressed dismay at a recent Pew report that found mothers to be the primary or sole breadwinners in 40% of American households with children.
“Have these men lost their minds? (and these are my colleagues??!! oh brother… maybe I need to have a little chat with them) (next thing they will have a segment to discuss eliminating women’s right to vote?)” she wrote in a short blog post Thursday.
Erickson in particular railed against the findings, explaining that basic knowledge of biology reveals males are the dominant gender, and liberals who try to upend this are “very anti-science.”
“When you look at biology — when you look at the natural world — the roles of a male and a female in society and in other animals, the male typically is the dominant role,” he said Wednesday night. “The female, it’s not antithesis, or it’s not competing, it’s a complimentary role.”
In a subsequent blog post Thursday, Erickson addressed his critics as “feminist and emo lefties” who “have their panties in a wad.“
