Grassley: Unlike A Deer, An Attacking Criminal Shoots Back

Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-IA), ranking member of the Senate Judiciary Committee, said during Wednesday’s hearing on gun policy that he questions opposition to high-capacity magazines on the grounds that they serve no legitimate purpose for hunters and sportsmen. 

“We hear that no one needs to carry larger magazines than those that hunters used to shoot deers (sic),” Grassley said. “But an attacking criminal, unlike a deer, shoots back.”
