Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) apologized on Tuesday for what he called “a very poor attempt at humor” when he made a reference to House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi’s “surgeries” while criticizing her response to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s speech.
Sen Graham RE: @netanyahu address: “I made a very poor attempt at humor to talk about (Pelosi’s) reaction, and for that I apologize.”

Graham made the remark during a private fundraiser after Netanyahu’s speech.
“Did you see Nancy Pelosi on the floor. Complete disgust,” Graham said, according to Josh Rogin of Bloomberg News. “If you can get through all the surgeries, there’s disgust.”
Pelosi criticized Netanyahu’s speech on Tuesday and said she was “saddened by the insult to the intelligence of the United States as part of the P5 +1 nations, and saddened by the condescension toward our knowledge of the threat posed by Iran and our broader commitment to preventing nuclear proliferation.”
“If you can get through all the surgeries, there’s disgust.”
That comment makes no sense at all to me. And how is that a poor attempt at humor?
Another example of Lady Lindsey’s bloomers in a twist. At least it wasn’t another case of the vapors for our favorite Southern belle.
I reluctantly admit, he has me at a disadvantage. Either I don’t get GOP humor, or the man suffered an acute attack of inarticulosis. He seems to be uttering an array of words desperately in search of a coherent thought.
Wait…what???
Indeed. Teatroll Rosetta Stone has nothing to offer on this one.
