Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) is increasingly concerned that Donald Trump will cost his party the majority in the U.S. Senate.
In a New York Times article Friday, Graham told the paper that “people are getting pretty nervous about our candidates because he’s in a death spiral here and nobody knows where the bottom is at.”
In races across the country, Hillary Clinton’s double digit leads are making it almost impossible for Republican candidates to stay afloat. Yet, many in the party worry that completely disavowing Trump at this point could make matters worse as Republican voters may not even show up at the polls.
“It’s going to be like ‘Weekend at Bernie’s’ — you got to make him look alive, even if he’s not,” Graham told the Times.
Drumpf’s bottom was just observed in New York City yesterday. What’s your question, Senator Graham Cracker?
Something tells me Lindsey Graham knows a lot about bottoming. ay-ohhhhh!
Man, it’s like clockwork. Trump tweets about how some media outlet’s reporting is more and more dishonest and fortunately they’re a dying paper or their ratings are going down or whatever it is, and by some strange coincidence that paper or TV show drops a negative Trump story the same day. : ) I’ve been wondering for a couple hours now what he expected the NYT to come out with, and here it is.
Graham nails Trump’s pivot this week:
‘"It’s going to be like ‘Weekend at Bernie’s’ — you got to make him look alive, even if he’s not,” Graham told the Times.’
