Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) on Sunday said that he will not vote to confirm a new CIA director until the administration provides more information about what happened during the Sept. 11 attacks in Benghazi, Libya.

“I’m not gonna vote on a new CIA director till I find out what the CIA did in Benghazi,” Graham said on CBS’ “Face the Nation.”

McCain, also on the show, said he didn’t want to characterize his position as a threat but said he too wanted answers on Benghazi.

“We hate to threaten,” McCain said about whether he and Graham would block John Brennan’s nomination. “Why don’t we just get the answers to these questions.”

Graham and McCain characterized their questions as a legitimate part of a give-and-take between the Senate and White House that occurs during the confirmation process for nominees.
