House Ways & Means Committee Chair Dave Camp (R-MI) released a tax reform blueprint on Wednesday.

“Washington needs to wake up to this reality and start offering concrete solutions and debating real policies that strengthen the economy and help hardworking taxpayers,” Camp said in a statement. “Tax reform is one way we can do that.”

Speaker John Boehner (R-OH) stopped short of embracing the proposal, calling it “a discussion draft.” He told reporters, “It’s time to have a public conversation about the issue of tax reform. And so, I welcome the conversation.”
