Rep. Paul Broun’s (R-GA) Senate campaign is out with a new ad hitting his primary opponent Rep. Jack Kingston (R-GA) for saying that it wouldn’t be the “responsible” thing to do to let Obamacare collapse on its own.

“I don’t want to fix Obamacare, I want to get rid of it,” Broun said in the ad. “I’m the only candidate for the U.S. candidate who has consistently fought to fully defund Obamacare.”

Kingston, who has repeatedly voted to repeal or defund Obamacare, said to a local Georgia radio station that Congress shouldn’t just stand aside.

“A lot of conservatives say, ‘Nah, let’s just step back and let this thing fall to pieces on its own,” Kingston said during the radio interview. “But I don’t thknk that’s always the responsible thing to do.”

Daniel Horowitz, the policy director of the conservative Madison Project, wrote a blog post at Redstate.com shortly after the interview titled, “Jack Kingston has Surrendered on Obamacare.”
