Google Launches 2013 ‘Doodle’ Logo Contest For Students

Google on Monday launched a new version of it annual contest for students in grades K through 12, allowing them to submit designs for Google’s iconic logo on its search homepage, also known as the Google Doodle. This year’s Doodle 4 Google contest is focused on the theme “My Best Day Ever…,” and the winner will receive a $30,000 college scholarship, plus a $50,000 “technology grant” for their school and other unspecified prizes. Students have until March 22 to enter, which they can do via the following link. Google has been running the contest since 2008. Watch a Google video promo for the contest below:
