In a sweeping monologue that invoked Walt Disney and Pope Pius XII, right-wing pundit Glenn Beck railed against the Associated Press on Thursday for asking Bill Cosby about recent rape allegations.
“You want to talk about rape? That’s media rape, right there,” Beck said on his radio show.
The conservative host was apparently under the impression that the AP journalists who interviewed Cosby on Nov. 6 had promised they would avoid addressing the allegations.
This is untrue, as Cosby acknowledged on the very tape Beck was discussing, which was published Wednesday night.
“You said you would not do that. Since when does your ‘no’ mean ‘yes’? Do you know the definition of ‘no,’ sir?” Beck said.
“You’ve just raped Bill Cosby. You said you wouldn’t do it. You just did it and then you blamed it on him,” the host added.
