George Will dusted off his crystal ball on Sunday to offer another one of his typically confident predictions.

Will said that it won’t be long before New Yorkers are longing for the days before Bill de Blasio became mayor.

“I give him three years,” Will said on Fox News. “And people will be begging for return to something else.”

Will said he hopes de Blasio implements a progressive agenda because “there is nothing better for American conservatism than periodic examples of untrammeled liberalism.”

It seems like an appropriate time to revisit Will’s prophecy of the 2012 election.
