Bush unveiled the never before seen painting of himself alongside former President George H.W. Bush Monday on NBC’s “Today.”

“I was very proud to be standing next to a man I admire greatly,” he told co-host Savannah Guthrie. “First thing I wanted to make sure is I got the noses right.”
Though the younger Bush already has one solo gallery show under his belt, he’s still being self-deprecating about his amateur painting skills.
“You know, I’ve tried to paint a gentle soul, and I did,” he said of his father. “As for me, I kind of bumbled through.”
