Yes, former President George W. Bush is still painting. And the latest world leader to get the GWB portrait treatment is his own father.

Bush unveiled the never before seen painting of himself alongside former President George H.W. Bush Monday on NBC’s “Today.”

“I was very proud to be standing next to a man I admire greatly,” he told co-host Savannah Guthrie. “First thing I wanted to make sure is I got the noses right.”

Though the younger Bush already has one solo gallery show under his belt, he’s still being self-deprecating about his amateur painting skills.

“You know, I’ve tried to paint a gentle soul, and I did,” he said of his father. “As for me, I kind of bumbled through.”

  2. If 43 weren’t such a sociopathic asshole responsible for thousands upon thousands of deaths, I’d almost feel pity for his stupidity and lack of self-awareness. Except, you know, not.

  3. He’s getting better (as a painter).
