Gen. Allen Resumes Job In Afganistan

Gen. John Allen is back in Kabul to resume his duties as top U.S. and NATO commander in Afghanistan, the AP reports. Allen was in Washington to testify on his nomination to the position of commander of U.S. European Command and the top NATO general when the Pentagon announced an investigation into emails between Allen and Jill Kelley. That nomination is now on hold.
