The FBI on Monday morning was searching the Phoenix home of the men suspected of opening fire on security guards on Sunday outside a Muhammed cartoon contest near Dallas, according to Phoenix television station KPNX.

“The two gunmen who were involved in the shooting in Dallas… were determined to be from Phoenix, located at this property,” Assistant Special Agent in Charge John Lannarelli KPNX, according to Dallas station WFAA. “Hence the FBI and Phoenix police were involved in determining where at this location and what evidence may be available that can be used in the Dallas investigation.”

Two gunmen were killed on Sunday after they opened fire on a Muhammed cartoon contest at the Curtis Culwell Center in Garland, Texas. Authorities have not yet released the identities of the gunmen.
