Sens. John McCain (R-AZ), Chuck Schumer (D-NY), Jeff Flake (R-AZ) and Michael Bennet (D-CO) — members of the Senate’s “Gang of 8” working on immigration reform — are scheduled to hold a press conference at 3 p.m. ET Wednesday in Nogales, Ariz. after touring the Arizona-Mexico border, according to a release.
During a naturalization ceremony Monday at the White House, President Obama said he expects a bill to be put forward next month. “I want to sign that bill into law as soon as possible,” Obama said.
