Gallup’s tracking poll of the Republican Presidential race has shown an eight point drop in frontrunner Newt Gingrich’s support over the last six days. Gingrich’s high water mark was getting 37 percent of the GOP field on Friday of last week, but Thursday’s numbers show Gingrich with 29 percent, only up 5 on former Mass. Gov. Mitt Romney.
