Gallup National Poll: Romney 49, Obama 48

Gallup editor-in-chief Frank Newport told Bloomberg Businessweek that his organization will release a poll at 1 p.m. on Monday that shows Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney with a 1-point lead nationally among likely voters. Romney gets 49 percent and President Obama sees 48 percent, according to Newport.

Gallup suspended its national tracking poll on October 29th due to Hurricane Sandy.
