The nation’s largest police union on Friday offered an enthusiastic endorsement of Donald Trump, saying the self-described “law and order candidate” had the “full support” of its members.
“He’s made a real commitment to America’s law enforcement and we’re proud to make a commitment to him and his campaign by endorsing his candidacy today,” National Fraternal Order of Police President Chuck Canterbury said in a statement.
Canterbury applauded Trump for meeting with local leaders of the union in August.
“He understands and supports our priorities and our members believe he will make America safe again,” Canterbury wrote.
The statement said that an endorsement of a candidate requires a two-thirds majority from the union’s 50-person national board.
Trump has said he would serve as a “cheerleader for the police” as president and address crime by putting “tough” cops in charge.

The union that represents people in law enforcement just gave its imprimatur to a man who lies constantly and is a serial crook. Gives you new faith in the justice system.
Birds of the same feather…
That’s some scary shit right there.
Future SS?
If this doesn’t help motivate the African-American voters to support Hillary even more vocally, I don’t know what will.
