Fox News reported Thursday morning that Department of Homeland Security Secretary Gen. John Kelly said that parts of President Donald Trump’s border wall would be transparent.
Fox’s Catherine Herridge said that Kelly told her that the wall “will take a multi-layered approach. There will be the physical wall and then parts of the wall that you can see through because it will rely on sensors and other technology.”
In a subsequently aired on-camera interview Thursday afternoon, Kelly told the network that the wall, part “physical” and part “technological sensors,” would hopefully be completed in two years.
“They will build it where it is needed first as identified by the men and women who work the border, and then we’ll fill it in as time goes on,” he said, adding: “Any discussion about the protection of our southwest border involves discussion, clearly, of physical barriers, but also of technological sensors, things like that. It’s a layered approach.”
Herridge also reported that Kelly had said he was optimistic that he would receive a “surge” of resources for border security. She said he also hoped that “if it’s legal,” immigration judges could be brought directly to the border to expedite deportation hearings.

Well, things that don’t exist actually are ‘see through’ so for once Fox has it right.
