Former Secret Service agent and Maryland GOP Senate candidate Daniel Bongino on CNN on Tuesday called the prostitution scandal enveloping the agency an “embarrassment” and a “disgrace.” In the 27 countries he visited while working for the agency, Bongino said he never heard of similar activities. “I’ve never seen it, I’ve never heard of it on trips I’ve been on,” he told CNN.
Bongino also said he knows almost everyone involved. “Some are neighbors to this day,” he admitted. In an interview with the Huffington Post, Bongino confirmed that his brother is one of the service members involved in the scandal, but he claimed his brother is “not part of the prostitution investigation.”
