Florida GOP Rep. Trey Radel Charged With Cocaine Possession

Rep. Trey Radel (R-FL) was arrested in Washington, D.C. on Oct. 29 and charged with possession of cocaine, Politico reported on Tuesday.

Radel, a first-term congressman, is scheduled to appear in D.C. Superior Court on Wednesday at 9:00AM. The maximum penalty for possession of cocaine, a misdemeanor, is 180 days in prison and/or a $1,000 fine.
