EMILY’s List, the PAC that supports pro-choice, Democratic women candidates, launched “The Impact Project” Monday to detail the “influence that Democratic women in Congress have had on national policy.” The new site is meant as a tool to illustrate the importance of electing Democratic women.

“Every day, our lives are directly impacted by critical policies that we take for granted– but which were hard-fought gains won by electing more women to office,” Stephanie Schriock, EMILY’s List’s president, said in a release. “From equal pay, to Title IX, to access to women’s health care, Democratic women in Congress have led – and continue to lead – the way to implementing policies that improve the lives of families all over America. ‘The Impact Project’ aims to show conclusively that we benefit as a society from having more Democratic women in Washington.”
