Sen. Elizabeth Warren’s (D-MA) new official title in the Senate Democratic leadership is Strategic Policy Advisor to the Democratic Policy Communications Committee but her unofficial is “liberal liaison” and she’s not too crazy about that.

“I don’t quite understand it, Warren told The Huffington Post. Warren said that her new leadership role didn’t just mean speaking on behalf of the liberal wing of the Democratic Party.

“Harry [Reid] asked me to be a strategic policy advisor, because that’s what I talk about, I talk about policy — college affordability and minimum wage and Social Security,” Warren said. “And that’s what I’m supposed to do and that’s what I will do. That’s my portfolio.”
