Donna Brazile, who’s taking over from Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D-FL) as interim chair of the Democratic National Committee, said Tuesday that the party would become one “you can be proud of.”

“And let me say this, as your incoming chair of the Democratic National Committee, I promise you, my friends, I commit to all Americans that we will have a party that you can be proud of,” Brazile said in her address to the party’s convention. “We will elect Democrats up and down the ballot.”

Brazile is expected to serve as the interim chair in the wake of Wasserman Schultz’s resignation. Wikileaks had published hacked internal DNC emails on Friday that showed some party officials discussing potentially undermining Sen. Bernie Sanders’ (I-VT) campaign.

Brazile seemed to saunter off the stage after he speech was done, with the crowd chanting her name. The reaction was notable, given the strong boos from Sanders supporters in the hall the previous night. After Clinton was officially nominated following a roll call vote earlier Tuesday evening, diehard Sanders supporters had left the convention hall.
