Republican presidential candidate and real estate mogul Donald Trump reminded us of his business prowess, calling himself “king of the tax code” during a Friday morning interview with MSNBC’s “Morning Joe.”
“What I want to do is I want to simplify the tax code,” Trump told MSNBC.
“Look, nobody knows the tax code better than I do,” he said. “OK. I know it better. I’m the king of the tax code.”
Trump, in a move that distanced him from many Republicans, said he wants to raise taxes on the extremely rich. He also said he wants to lower taxes for middle-class Americans.
“We’re going to simplify the tax code, take away some of the deductions,” he said. “And hedge fund guys have to pay up.”
Watch the clip, from MSNBC, below:
“I’m king of the-!” CLONG!
This is the first thing Trump has said that I can agree with. Will be interesting to see if the other dwarfs will attack him on this.
Actually, he’s the King of: “Telling the rubes what they want to hear.”
and they eat it up.
I hope he starts attacking former Gov. Willard “Mitt” Romney (R-MONEY) on his refusal to release more of his past tax returns.
How much do you think Trump knows about the Earned Income Tax Credit?
