A Democratic lawmaker in California posted a message to Twitter on Tuesday saying her office had “tortured” a piñata depicting Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump during an office potluck.
Self-described progressive state Assemblywoman Lorena Gonzalez tweeted that she wanted to try to “represent my border community.”
The Trump piñata began the day intact and wearing a suit but ended it “tortured” and wearing a jersey that read “Democrats” and a hat with the word “Dems.”
