Donald Trump responded to a jab Marcio Rubio has made about the size of Trump’s hands — a line widely interpreted to be a reference to Trump’s manhood — by promising that when it comes to the size of “something else,” he guarantees “there is no problem.”
“He hit my hands. Nobody has ever hit my hands. I have never heard of this. Look at those hands. Are they small hands?” Trump said at the Fox News GOP debate Thursday. “And he referred to my hands if they are small, something else must be small. I guarantee you there is no problem. I guarantee you.”
Rubio had introduced the line about Trump’s allegedly small hands on the campaign trail earlier this week. Other Trump foes have also mocked Trump’s hand size, but Rubio took the diss one step further by alluding to the innuendo.
“You know what they say about guys with small hands,” Rubio said at a rally in Virginia Monday. Getting laughs from the crowd, Rubio quipped, “You can’t trust ’em!”
