Donald Trump was a little confused by communion while attending services at a church in Council Bluffs, Iowa, on Sunday.
When the communion plates were passed at the nondenominational First Christian Orchard Campus, Melania Trump and two campaign staffers both participated in communion. However, Trump at first thought it was time for the offering and pulled out bills from his pockets, according to the Associated Press.
“I thought it was for offering,” he told staffers and laughed, according to the AP.
He then contributed later when the church passed plates for the offering.
Trump has been courting evangelical voters in Iowa, and he has been attending church services throughout the state.

Sounds like Trump has been to church less that I have.
In the law there is a phrase “admission by non verbal conduct.” This is as clear an admission that his new found religious fervor is fake as any spoken acknowledgement could be.
At least he didn’t try to piss in it.
My guess is he thought that was the part of the service where rich guys purchased indulgences.
We won’t get into what he tried to do when the communion cup was put in front of him.
Rich guys have to ‘purchase’ indulgences? I thought that was just a perk of being rich.
