After Gawker on Monday published Donald Trump’s cell phone number, the presidential candidate embraced the trolling attempt and used his voicemail to deliver a campaign message.

On Tuesday, Trump published a tweet directing people to call the cell phone number provided by Gawker.

On the voicemail for his cell phone, Trump directs callers to his Twitter account and campaign website.

“Hi, this is Donald Trump and I’m running for the presidency of the United States of America. With your support and help, we can make America truly great again,” Trump begins in his voicemail greeting before mentioning his website and Twitter account. “Hope to see you on the campaign trail. We’re going to do it.”

Trump’s voicemail also indicates that his mailbox is full.

After Trump read aloud Sen. Lindsey Graham’s (R-SC) cell phone number during a campaign speech in South Carolina, Gawker on Monday attempted revenge by publishing Trump’s cell phone number for all of the Internet to see.

Though the number does reach Trump, his campaign told Politico on Monday that he has numerous cell phone numbers.

“It’s a very old number. This is not one he uses. Mr. Trump has several numbers so this is not an issue,” the campaign said in a statement to Politico.

  1. Well I have to admit, his response was smart and effective. He definitely gets the last laugh on this one !

  2. Trump must have studied judo.

  3. Why am I getting a tiny bit nervous about this guy? He’s an absurdity, so I shouldn’t. But…is the absurdity an act, and behind the bomb throwing Donald lurks a shrewd strategy to claim the Presidency? Is America just loony enough to vote for him?

    Nawwwww…

Or probably not. Bush was elected a second time after all.

  4. Not quite the same, but close enough to give a second thought to.
