Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump dissed early voters in Iowa in a retweet on Thursday, the same day a new poll found contender Ben Carson leading the real estate mogul in the first-in-the-nation state.

In response to a new Quinnipiac poll that found retired neurosurgeon Ben Carson leading Trump among Iowa Republicans, the ex-reality TV star quote-retweeted to his 4.6 million Twitter followers:

Trump’s retweeting the semi-coherent message was immediately appraised as a misfire for the billionaire businessman. The Iowa caucuses carry substantial gravity in the presidential race, serving as a critical proving ground for which campaigns are viable in the long run.

The candidate also gave oxygen to the anti-genetically modified foods movement, despite the fact that numerous public health agencies have found no evidence that foods made with GMOs are unsafe.

  3. And it’s not even about him—Iowa GOPers are just extra-Jeebusy so naturally Carson does well. Honest to God, if you can’t handle the slightest criticism then campaigning for the Presidency is probably not a good hobby for you.

You mean the numerous public health agencies that used Monsanto’s data, without conducting their own research? The ones headed by ex-Monsanto executives?
