The Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee and Senatorial candidate Shelley Berkley are running a new radio ad against Sen. Dean Heller using the specter of Sharron Angle. The ad, in Spanish, calls Heller “another Sharron Angle” for his opposition to the Dream Act and immigration reform. Below is the text of the ad in English:

The party of Sharron Angle is back, but this time in Spanish.

Can you believe it?

Republicans are running ads attacking Democratic Congresswoman Shelley Berkley and President Obama, who support the DREAM Act and immigration reform.

Who’s their candidate now?

Dean Heller, the Republican who:

–         wants to copy Arizona’s anti-immigration law here in Nevada

–         voted to cut funds for Head Start and college grants.

–         opposes immigration reform — to the point he would deport grandparents, and separate children from their mothers.

–         and Heller has said he opposes the DREAM Act — closing the doors to our youth in the only country they know.

A Republican that wants to get to the Senate by way of an anti-Latino campaign…

Sound familiar?

In Republican Dean Heller we have another Sharron Angle.

“I am Shelley Berkley and I approve this message.”

Paid for by the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee.
