Was there any need for a concession call?

A Democrat triumphed on Tuesday in a municipal race in Waterville, Maine over her Republican opponent who also happened to be her husband.

By a margin of 127-76, Jennifer Johnson topped David Johnson in a race for one of the city’s warden positions. The Morning Sentinel noted that the two ran “to call attention to the importance of being involved and serving the community — and as a way of getting people out to vote.”

The couple has three children.
